LMR to RG type X-Reference

LMR-100

A 50 ohm low loss cable with a .1in diameter. Very flexible, typically used for shorter antennae run applications. This is an RG174 type cable, specifically designed for wireless applications. 

Our standard cable is Belden 7805A & 7805R.

LMR-195

A 50 ohm low loss cable with a .195in diameter.  Flexible, most common style for jumper cords. This is an RG58 type cable, specifically designed for wireless applications.

Our standard cable is Belden 7806A & 7806R

LMR-200

A 50 ohm low loss cable similar to 195, except with a larger center conductor and higher braid coverage. This is also an
RG58 type cable.

Our standard cable is Belden 7807A & 7807R

LMR-240

A 50 ohm low loss cable with a .24in diameter. Flexible, somewhat limited connector types available. This is an RG-8X type cable, specifically designed for wireless applications.

Our standard cable is Belden 7808A & 7808R.

LMR-400

A 50 ohm low loss cable with a .40in diameter.  Flexible, although cables shorter than 20ft may be unwieldy. This is an RG-8 type cable, specifically designed for wireless applications. It is widely used on Cisco products for cable lengths up to 50ft.

Our standard cable is Belden 7810A & 7810R.

LMR-600

A 50 ohm low loss cable with a .60in diameter. Typically used for longer length jumpers, 50ft and over. This cable has limited connector options.  There is no direct cross to a specific RG type for this cable.

Our standard cable is Belden 7977A & 7977R.
